Back on track after Easter/Refeed!!

I'm back online after the holidays!
I was on refeed last week for a wedding on Friday. The first 2 days went fine, then on the 3rd day I came down with a horrendous tummy bug (sorry if tmi but it involved being on/in the loo for nearly 2 days!:sick0019::sign0131:) So I had very little food those two days. I then found that all that would stay down the next day was dry toast & tea. The next day all I could stomach was mashed potatoes! Then I had the wedding- the meal was fine, I had veg soup (no roll!), lean turkey & steamed veg & a little potato, and no dessert- and some beer!
I'd got weighed that morning as usual and had 'only' gained 1lb during my disastrous re-feed, and I was happy enough with that believe it or not! So here I am, on day 3 of my return to TFR and the horrible metallic taste is back- ya-hoo!!!! (Am I completely insane? :p) All the 'nice' snack food that I was picking on is GONE from my house- the kids will be living on raisins & fruit & crisps that I hate for the next "x" weeks! I'm back on track and have NO excuses for not staying on track until I hit target. I have 9 full weeks before my next family wedding and if I put my mind to it I could be 2 stone lighter by then- so thats it- please feel free to chastise me, kick me up the ass, virtually shout, encourage and help me as I'm sure I'll need it over the next few months! I've spent the last hour catching up on posts so I'd better do a bit of work now. But I'll still be checking in...I missed my LT forum fixes!! ;):D

Welcome back. Shame to hear that you had a terrible time during your refeed but that was really good to only gain 1lb and you will loose that in no time :D. Good luck for the rest of your LT journey.

Thanks Kezza! I see you started while I was away- how are you finding it? Not long til your first wi! We have similar amounts to lose I see. I don't have a target date as such- when it's gone, it's gone- I'll be happy forever!!

EDIT- Sorry- I just read your other post!! Sorry you're struggling, but I'll echo everyones else- wait til your first wi- it'll make the hardship worthwhile, and the support on here is great!! We're all in the same boat remember!

Just so glad its Monday and I never thought I would say that lol. Just found the weekends harder. Headaches are clearing which is gd :). Altho im sure u are experiencing this again now, and bet you cant wait for them to be over.

Looking forward to 2mora to help give me a boost for my next week. So many people on here are an inspiration for their loss' its brilliant!

Well hopefully we can both lose the weight we want :D!

Ah pants that you was ill on your reefeed but who knows if you werent you might've gained more weight!!

1lb isnt bad - it could be a hell of a lot worse but now you are back on track i reckon you will do great!

Get your mind in the right frame and you'll suceed :)

I too have 9 weeks left untill my reefeed so fancy a challenge mrs?!!! lol

Jayz- if I do HALF as well as you I'd be thrilled! LOL!
I reckon I'd gained 1lb because of the carb overload (as opposed to gentle re-introduction that was supposed to happen!)- that plus it's the totm and I usually retain then? I might be making excuses, but hey-ho, I'm back on track, tasting metal, running to the loo again every 10mins! I've got rid of all temptation at home, and have a 'hit-list' of jobs that NEED to be done soon for when boredom/nibbling notions hit? LOL!
Are you aiming for the whole 48lb in 9wks?

no i dont think i will do the 48lbs in 9 weeks thats a big push but aslong as im as close as poss i will be happy :)

Isn't it mad?! I hadn't it for a week or two now (from my 'nibbling' started) and I'm so glad it's back? Okay...now I know I've gone weird!:p

I'd be over the moon to lose 2 stone in 9wks. Should I set myself a challenge....oh, I'd be afraid to in case I failed?? Hmm....

A challenge is the best way to keep you on the straight and narrow - do it! set one! :)

Think you should set a challenge too, it will really keep you motivated now you are back on track. Don't be afraid to fail though, no matter what you lose in those weeks you should be proud. Good luck.

Thanks everyone!! Did well yesterday (i.e. still no picking! LOL!)and managed 10 pints of water. Still have the furry mouth (thank God!) and feeling positive. I'll have a think about the challenge...it's scary though? LOL!
