Bad news - OHs grandad just passed away

Just had phonecall from OH to tell me his grandad has passed away.
They were so close and he is absolutely gutted.
I am very upset also and i have only known him 5 years.
Am at work and don't know what to do.
SHould i go home - should i stay at work.
If i go home then i am sure i will just sit and cry

Thanks girls,
I just phoned my OH and he won't be home till about 4. So gonna hold out here for a bit then go home and be there for when he gets home.
It doesn't matter how much you prepare yourself for something like this - you just fall apart when that phonecall comes
