Batchelors Pasta n Sauce SW Quiche

I made a SW Quiche tonight which (in the old days) used to be a firm favourite with us. Tonight's was a bit of a flop to say the least (and it could be simply that the packet of Pasta n Sauce was out of date slightly).

I used Tomato and Herb and cooked with water as the packet said. Used 2 eggs and a tub of light cottage cheese mixed together. I cooked in an oven 150degrees fan - for 40 minutes but it was still not cooked in the middle and the top was drying out.

What did I do wrong?
