    Hi,

I am quite early on in my diet but I wondered what the criteria for becoming a counsellor is? Also, I know that it is self emloyed, does anyone have any idea of what the earning potential would be?

I've spoken to my CDC about becoming a CDC in the future. I think, can't remember where I read it, that you need to have a bmi of 28 before you can become a CDC and to have done the diet! Then your own CDC sponsors you and helps you fill out an application before you get a telephone interview and go on a days training course. Don't know how much you can make from it but sure like all self employed jobs its down to you and how much time you can or are prepared to commit to it. Good luck and i'm sure a CDC will come along to give more info or correct mine if i'm wrong!
