Beef confusion help needed

I'm doing extra easy and I have had beef I bought brisket but cooked it with the fat on top but when I dished mine out I cut the fat off. So to me I thought this would be free but then looking in the Sw book it says there's syns of 7.5 for each slice.

How do I know what beef is free and how it should be cooked. I feel like I've been going really wrong now and shouldn't have eaten it :(

Any help would be appreciated xxx
 
Are you losing weight? If so, and you're happy with the rate of loss then keep doing what you're doing.

However, if you're not losing at a rate you're happy with, you need to keep to basics & cook meat (any meat, not just beef) without any type of oil/fat. Even though you cut off visible fat before eating, it's already had a chance to absorb some of the fat you let it cook in.
 
I lost well the first week then this week only 1lb just got confusing when I read the meat section in the east extra syn book.

Will see what I weigh on Monday n if still slow will change things I eat. Thanks for the help x
