'BIG' .......Bring on the summer :D

    Hi Everyone,

    I have been on this site for nearly a year and have managed to lose around 13lbs (I think) At one point I lost more but over time it has slowly crept back on me :tear_drop:

    I have struggled over the last 2 weeks to get my motivation back, and have had a few upsets recently and of course cannot stand how I look anymore and am desperate to sort myself out.

    I have set myself a couple of challanges

    - To lose 8lbs minimum during march
    - To lose 4 stone by 6th September

    My big challenge is to lose 4 stone by the 6th September which will be in time for my brothers wedding!!!

    I want to try and lose a minimum of 2lbs a week or more if possible and this starts today.

    I did my weigh in this morning and was a disgusting 19t 11lbs :doh: so a perfect time to get going!!

    After this post Im going to go for a good 1 1/2-2hr walk which Im hoping will spur me on, afterall I dont want to burn calories to come home and eat them do I :)

    So if anyone feels they want to do the same 'BIG' challenge then please join in, will help me if you do and of course will help you too :sign0163:

    Once I have reached the '4 stone' off, then I will do another challange.

    Fingers crossed... :stickdance:

    i'd definitely like to join in with this- after a promising start i have also gone off track. i'm going on holiday in september and don't want to be this big in a swimming costume :(

    so i'm aiming for 5st by sept- might be a bit of a tall order but that would take me out of being obese. bmi into the 30s by september, and i HAVE to do it.

    today (once i get home from appointment) i am going to clear the clothes off the exercise bike and get to work!!

    Excellent, so glad you want to join :)

    Make sure you keep posting with how you are doing and Im sure we can do it, so for your goal you need to aim for just under 3lbs a week

    if i get into the exercise regime again that shouldn't be too much of an issue- let's face it, it takes a LOT of energy to haul my poor excuse for a body onto a bike and go like the clappers! lol. did you get out for a walk sweets? x

    Thanks... had a cracking start in January but its starting to slow down now. need something to help keep me motivated!!

    Just looking forward to being able to start dropping down the dress sizes & buying things I like instead of just what fits!!

    You've done brilliantly too... not long til you hit your 2 stone! xx

    i havent updated the ticker. i am a wee bit heavier than that now :( but thank you anyway! it'll come off again! hopefully i'll get another first week big weight loss seeing as i've not been dieting for the last 2/3 weeks. i got on my scales this morning and they showed 21 stone!! i was like :O!!!!! NO WAY!! but i got off and on again and i was a stone ish lighter. i need to remember that my scales CANNOT be trusted.

    i know what you mean about the clothes- even if i was the biggest size in the shop (usually about a 16) i've always said my main aim is to walk into a high street shop and know i'll fit into something there. x

    My scales are the same... I mean do any scales actually work properly?? I had 4 different weights this morning!! Mind you I'm a serial weigher which probably doesn't help! Keep asking OH to hide them but he hasn't yet....

    i am also a serial weigher. i really need to bin the bloody things and just weigh in once a week on a reliable scale at boots or something!

    Its great to see a few people joining in, YAY Im not alone woo hoo so yes of course you can join in, will be a great incentive comparing losses and foods eaten etc of course no gains tho ;)

    I also am a serial weigher, I have lost 2lbs since I weighed this morning hee hee

    Not been for my walk just yet, but am going this afternoon now, around 2 ish Ideally wanted to do it first thing but struggled to get my butt going ha ha

    So whats everyones aims for march then towards reaching our 4 stone goal?

    Hi Nee

    I need to start doing some exercise!! My aim is to do 2/3 sessions on the wii fit per week & hopefully get myself back into swimming again!

    Would love to lose 10lbs again this month... need to watch my carb levels as I've allowed them to creep up again!

    Well done on yr 2lb loss this morning!! ;)

    hello peops,

    Can I join in this one, just posted long story re me being back on it, but this is just the sort of thing i need. something where I can update with others...

    4stone for the summer would be a result indeed....would get rid of a few of those norwegian fisherman off the coast..if not all of them :D

    Post here as much as you like, with good and bad and losses etc

    Im proud I went on my walk and did 2 hrs, aching a little now, but well worth it!! Also food today has been really good, I love the first day back on the 'diet' although I am Very Very hungry hee hee

    Please can I join too? I'm aiming for a stone a month, and would really like somewhere to post to keep me on track. My overall aim is 10stone - ideally by Christmas - but I may be slower if I need to take a break or to from total food replacement.
    You are all doing so well it is great to see so much success. I to am a serial weigher, and probably need to lose the scales - except for once a week. :)

    Like me I need to lose over 10 stone too, so brilliant, this breaks up the long term goal and hopefully will make it acheivable :)

    I am so wanting to not weigh all the time, but its a mission in itself ha ha you just wanna know if your on target ;)

    not weighed today! very tempted, but i wont! i actually think im going to bin the scales. they cause me more aggro than anything!!

    having a good day so far. have used 8.5 out of my 28 weight watchers points for the day and am full up- had a big (well, 60g) bowl of special k oats and honey, mmm, then for lunch i had 3 crispbakes and some low fat brussels pate! it was fab. going to either go to the gym this afternoon or at least have a go on my own exercise bike. making a playlist on spotify right now to listen to :)
