Big G to Great South Run Participant 2013

Welcome One and All....

A bit about my journey so far....

Began my journey with SW on the 5th March 2012 weighing 26st 12lb, I had already lost 1st from the beginning of the year but needed a boost....

I proceeded to lose 6st 6lb (90lb) by October 2012 and this is where the wheels fell of the wagon....

I had been training lots and in October I damaged a tendon in my shoulder meaning a 2 month rest & (with christmas) I put on 2st....

On NYE 2012 I got back on track, back to the gym and back collecting Slimmer of the week/month certificates for Jan/Feb & the 2st gone....

Then bang in March my tendon goes again, yep no gym & 1st 4lb on....

On Monday 27th May I decided enough is enough and I'm back focused and "ON IT!!"....

Current Status.... 1st June 2013
Weight: 21st 10lb....
Total SW Loss: 5st 2lb (72lb)....
Total Loss: 6st 2lb (86lb)....

Oh and I have forgot to mention I am signed up to to run the Great South Run 2013. Yes 10 miles around Portsmouth, I ran 5k (3.2 miles) in the gym today so should get there.

Hey Gav. Well done on your loss so far! Yes there are a couple of ups and downs but the important thing is you are going in the right direction!

I have also signed up for the great south run in October. Must be mad! Really need to start doing some actual running at some point... Need to wait until my arm is out of plaster though probably! At least Pompey is lovely and flat :) Well done on doing 5k in the gym!

15 mins exercise bike (5k completed)

0800 Breakfast
35g Porridge (HE B) with Skimmed Milk, Cinnamon & Sweetner.
Protein Shake (3 Syn's).

Jacket Potato, Tuna Mayo (2 Syn's) & Salad with Salad Cream (2 Syn's).
Apple & Yoghurt.

1745 Weigh In Time
4.5lb Off Tonight for a Total of 5st 6.5lb (76.5lb)
No certificate as put on last week :-(!!

Happy considering I thought it would be a gain.
