Hi All,

This is the Diary of a Man from Portsmouth who is on the weight loss journey with Slimming World.

I have gone from 26st 12lb to 23st 8lb, so a 3st 4lb loss in 16wks.

I am going to write what I am eating, how I'm training & anything else I feel is a help or hindrance to my weight loss.

Please feel free to comment or ask questions.

Here's to a good July....

Sunday July 1st 2012,

First Day of writing my Diary,

Up at 8am to a Breakfast of:
2 x Shredded Wheat with 200ml of milk.

Off out to work this morning so snacks to tide me over until a late lunch.

The snacks consisting of:
2 x Apples
2 x Bananas
2 x Raw Carrots

Off to work I go....
 
1400 hrs,

Returned from work, the snacks have done the trick, I am not at the starving stage, so I am in control.

Now for a late lunch consisting of:
A Chicken & Ham salad with 2 syn's worth of salad cream,
A Coconut & Choc sprinkle Yoghurt for dessert.

Time to think about a visit to the gym.....
 
5.30pm

Gym done....
1 hour Biggest Loser Uk workout &
30mins Cardio, 15 X-Trainer/15 Exercise Bike both interval training....
 
1800 hrs

Now for Dinner....

Jacket Potato, SW Chilli with 2 syn's of flour & free/super free vegetables....
A mini calippo (3 syn's) for dessert....

Total: 7 Syn's for today....

Time to chill to watch the Euro 2012 Final, Spain v Italy....

A late evening snack:
Lean Ham
Beef Savoury Rice
White Choc, options 2 Syn's....

Total Syn's: 9

Total Gym: 1hr 15min
 
July 2nd 2012

Up at 0600 hrs for a morning session at the Gym.

Pre-Gym: Syn Free, Energy Drink (Diet)

50 mins Cardio,
o15 mins Sit Down Bike, Distance 5.75km on Interval training. 3-1 & 4/8
o20 min Cross Trainer, 2.2km on Interval Training 1-1 & 5/2-10/4.
o3.1km Rowing machine in 14min 18secs.

Felt good....;-)

Home for breakfast....

Breakfast
2 x Shredded Wheat & 200ml

Snacks for 11's prep'd
An apple, A Banana & a Muller light coconut yoghurt.

Off to work I go....
 
1245 hrs

Time for Lunch:
Tuna pasta salad with 2 Syn's of light thousand island dressing.

No afternoon snack on weigh in day.....:-( better be worth it!!

Dinner

A homemade 'Spicy Prawn Stir Fry with beansprouts & noodles'
Half a mini twister for dessert (Daughter wanted some) for 1.5 Syn's

Total Syn's: 3.5

Late Evening snack

An Apple, An Orange, A Mug Shot & Hot Choc (2 Syn's)

Gym Bag Ready for the Morning.

Up ready for the gym....

Pre-work out: Diet Energy Drink.

1 hour Biggest Loser Workout (No. 3)

Upped weight today & felt a good hard session.

Home for breakfast....

Breakfast:

2 x Shredded Wheat & 200ml of Skimmed Milk.

Snacks prep'd for elevens's:

An Apple, A Banana & A Muller light yoghurt.

Lunch Time.....

Two Small Jacket potato's with Chicken Mayo & Salad. 2 Syn's Mayo, 1 Syn salad dressing.

No snacks this afternoon as going to have them after late meeting tonight.

Back to Work....

Dinner Time:

4 x Healthy Living Sausages (4 syn's), Jacket Wedges, 2 x Eggs, Mushrooms, Veg.
Calippo (3 syn's)

Off to meeting....
 
2100 hrs

Late evening snack....

Orange, Grapes, Cheese (3 syn's), Mug Shot, White Choc Options (2 syn's) & Muller Light Yoghurt.

Total Syn's: 15

2km sprint, 7.59mins....
30mins Interval Power Walking, 2.8km/427cals....
10mins Interval Cycling, 3.73km....

Snacks ready for elevens's,

Apple, banana & yoghurt.
