Do they get smaller when you lose weight? This is a major concern my boobs are one of my best features-shallow of me I know. I mean I'm smart too. I want to be skinny or at least healthy of course.

But basically geh this is going to sound stupid. My breasts are important to me there possibly the thing that makes me happiest about being a woman. It feels like they are truly my heart, when someone is upset that's the part they get close to when I hug them to make them feel better. When I go out it's the part I show off. When I get undressed and look in the mirror there the only thing I look at and feel proud of.

Please don't think me crazy. I don't think having small breasts make much difference to a woman but for me my breast are something I am really proud of.

I am currently a UK size D... Will they get smaller if I lose weight I want to be skinny and keep these the way they are. Is that possible? I heard some peoples do get smaller and other stories about how they don't become effected at all and stay the same size.

    Help???

I don't know - mine have shrunk, but I was glad of that because being a 38G wasn't fun! I'm expecting them to reduce further as I was a 34D before I put all this weight on and would love to end up being as small as a D cup again.

I suppose that's as good a measuring stick as any - have they got larger as you put weight on?

I'm sure someone will be along with some real insight soon, but that's my experiences so far in case that helps!

    Hey, New to the forum!

I lost 7 kg over the summer (and have managed to keep it off yay, still a long way to go though). My bra size shrunk more than my dress size, and it was a lot more noticeable. But with my mum who lost loads of weight her bra size didn't change. I think it's different for everyone and really depends where the fat sits on your body.

I think it depends how much you have to lose, if you only have a bit to lose they won't be too bad but if you have loads to lose like I did then unfortunately they will shrink considerably. I don't mean to upset you but my gorgeous girls are now gone! They look like someone's sucked all the filling out of them and it's so depressing that sometimes I can't look at them. Don't get me wrong I'm so happy I've lost the weight and I'm so much healthier and happier than I was before, I just have to accept that my body won't be perfect after everything I put it through.

I've lost 34lbs so far gone from a size 14 to a size 12. Boobs wise I have gone from a solid 34D/DD to a C. The band size around feels a lot more comfortable and have a feeling whilst losing the final few lbs I will make it into a 32. To me my boobs have disappeared, they used to be full and a nice asset, they are now non-existant and it's a good job my bum is getting nicer lol

boobs are made of fat.. so if you lose weight they will most likely get smaller. unfortunately you can't chose where to lose the weight. I have the same feelings as you about my boobs... but, I managed to get down to a size 10 a few years ago and noticed that I had so much else to be happy with in terms of my body that I did not miss the boobs!!

I'm an A cup regardless my weight. I was never overweight or underweight but I already had an 18 bmi as well as a 22.5 bmi and to be honest the difference on boobs wasn't that noticeable.

I for one will be delighted if I lose weight from my boobs!
I'm a forty DD  and I think each one must weigh 2 or 3 lbs!
I hate having to hunt for the larger sizes when searching for bras
but thank goodness places like Marks and Spencers are making the bigger sizes prettier nowadays and not like something your grandma would wear lol x :D

My back size has shrunk but the cup size has stayed the same which is weird! I joke that I have to fold them up to put in my bra, origami boobs! lol
