Hi guys, I was in Boots yesterday picking up a couple of atkins bars and I was looking at the diabetic bars. Now the atkins bar I got had like 48g of carbs but about 46 of them were polyols. The Boots bar had 11g carbs and 8.6 polyols. Would we be ok to eat these in moderation? I know we'll probably get the lovely polytrots but they had chocolate with hazelnuts and it looked soooo good!!

Yeah, I am diabetic. I tried them once and couldn't leave the house for a week! Yuck.

I normally have the odd one here and there and I'm fine.....

Careful though...not just of the polytrots....hehe

Some people stall with those kinds of bars, ie polyols....but if you're fine with Atkins bars you might be ok?

Thorntons diabetic is nice too....and I'm pretty sure that Hotel Chocolat (sp?) are now doing diabetic versions?
