If we use bovril or oxo they are supposed to be fat free. I use Oxo cubes in stews that will feed 4-6 people so I ingore that rule :p

Hmmm - why? It doesn't look any different than lowfat beef bouillon.

I don't see what's wrong with Oxo - the book specifies bouillon cubes for several recipes.


I am cooking with it right now, as I type!
