Since starting SW I've only had bread twice in two weeks. Both times it was 1/2 a large slice of granary and both times I've been as bloated as ever after it. Has anyone else had this or am I the odd one
I had a week where I ate bread pretty much every day and I put on 2lbs
I did feel very bloated so I've cut it out this week. Hopefully it'll make a difference, but I'm guessing bread has that effect on some people and they just don't notice when they are eating whatever they want
I had a single piece of bread with a fry up last weekend while I dipped off plan due to having visitors. Its the only bread I have had since I started SW and I didnt really enjoy it that much. I did feel bloaty for the rest of the night but I can more likely attribute that to the monster-truck of a hangover I was having.
I dont miss it, so I am not going to bother with it in future.
I've realised how much bread I was eating and mainly due to laziness. 2 slices each morning for breakfast and then 3 days a week when I was at work yet more bread. I've certainly felt better for cutting down on it.
thats interesting about the bananas Zoe, ive been eating a banana and also 2 slice bread everyday and i only lost 1lb (first week) and im now half way though my 2nd week and im still doing this.... i wonder if this has been part of the problem im going to cut out both for the rest of the week in the hope that i see a better loss on tuesday.
ive only eaten bread a few times since i've been on sw and ive not really missed it.not a concious oh im not going to have bread just i prefer to have my heb as other things(fibre plus bar,weetabix,ryvita wholegrain crackerbreads).
im really curious now as to if it has made a difference to my losses or not...and not keen to have it as my heb again until im maintaining,lol!!
