Hi there! So it's day one & I miss eating. I'm size 14/16 and would like to drop 3 stones for my big day. Been large most of my life going from diet to diet & decided to give LT a go.

Had the chicken soup for dinner & it's not as bad as some of the reviews made out! I think the hardest challenge will be socialising with friends. I've already re-scheduled a dinner to just meeting for coffee. And declined a work birthday lunch! This is going to be tough but just concentrating one day at a time for now.

Really surprised to read about others level of weight loss in week 1 - roll onthe weekend!

Hi Pam! Welcome to the forums :)

I thought the same as you when I started but after a couple of weeks (encouraged by the weight loss!) I actually enjoy going out to socialise, the people closest to me now know the diet I'm on and the ones that aren't supportive... well they're not really on my socialising list anymore!

Taking one day at a time is the best way, before you know it it'll be week 1 over, then week 2... then you settle into a routine and the weeks start flying by!

Keep popping onto the forums and let us know how you're getting on, and remember if you have a bad day that you have the best motivation, just imagine the wedding dresses! :D

Hi P4mi, I too am getting married later this year and am on LT to get slim for that and to get fit and healthy ready for starting a family. I have lost 1st in 2 weeks so far, and am expecting that to slow down now. Stick with it, the results are great. :))

Firstly congrats! Wow, congrats on your weight loss too, that's amazing! Completed week one & I've lost 7.5 lbs. I'm really chuffed and hope that I can lose up to a stone in the next 2/3 weeks. I'm struggling with the side effects (constipation) but read that it's quite common!!

I went out to dinner last night & stuck to water & peppermint tea. I'm loving that I don't feel hungry just missing the lovely good that I see others around me eating!

You must have a will of iron! There's no way I could go out for dinner and watch others eat, I still miss food too much. Lunchtime in the staffroom is hard enough and I had to leave a meeting early in my first 10 days as I could smell the amazing spread that had been laid on. What day do you weigh in?

Hey P4mi and Kayroo, how are you getting on? Haven't heard from you in a few days. I hope things are going ok.
I've had a bit of a mental melt-down the past few days but luckily haven't given up or cheated.
 
Hey :) I'm still here, just not posted in this thread for a while! :) Lost 4lbs this week, over the moon :D The heat has got to me too, nearly caved at the weekend but stuck to it! Glad to see you've stuck to it too, and your ticker shows just how well you've done! You'll be at that wedding weight in no time xxx
 
Another bride to be here. Started lt three days ago. This is my second time doing it. Last time was 2007 and I did it for 8 weeks, lost over four stone. Hoping to lose about 1.5/2 stone this time around and then I'll do ww or something long term. How is everyone getting on?
 
I managed to lose another 4lb this week, not bad as it's my TOTM. Hoping to up this to 5lb tjis week so I can hit 2st. How's every one else getting on?

I'm just starting week 8 now, hoping for those final 2lbs this week to get me to 2st :) Feeling pretty positive as I literally cannot wear my trousers that were tight when I started. I keep them on show as a reminder of how well I'm doing :)

You're almost halfway through your journey Dani, that must feel so good!! xx

Firstly congrats on all ur upcomin weddings! i also am getting married june next year which is why im now doin LT im on my three week and have lost 1st 2lbs.
The first week was so hard but totally worth it at ur first weighin just stick to it i am already seein the results. my lil bit of advise is stick to three hakes a day becoz not havin all three does affect ur weight lose i found that out last week.
constipation is normal ask for some fibre stuff that goes in ur water it totally helps promise!!

Hey!! I'm doing ok. i have lost a stone lost in 3 weeks ? no cheating yet, although struggled at a BBQ this weekend! I only lost 2.5 lbs this week but understand one can lose less during TOTM! I am sticking to it religiously although I know I have a couple of commitments next week which will mean I have to eat, that said the pharmacist thought it would be ok as long as I continue on the plan the rest of the time.

Lots of encouragement from other brides on this forum which is lovely! I'm looking to go wedding dress shopping in about 2 months so would really like to have shifted another 1.5 stone by then.

Keep it up ladies!!!!

Welcome new bride to be!! First week is definitely the toughest but it gets much easier - particularly in this weather, you really don't feeling like eating in the heat. I'm shocked that I don't get hungry on this diet. I've recently started watching cooking programmes - it surprising helps - I get my fix watching lovely food. Strange I know lol. Let us know how u weigh in for week 1!!

Hi - love it when clothes become too big! I'm not there yet, but hopefully will be in a couple of weeks. I've got a pair of size 12 jeans that I'm waiting to get into ?. How much more do u need to lose to get to your optimal weight? Good luck with your 2 stone goal this week!

Hi Pam, well I weighed myself today and came in at 11st 4 & 1/2lb so only another 1lb and then I'm at 2st!!! My official weigh in is on Thurs this week as I'm having to wait until pay day to buy more shakes, lucky I have some spares. Fingers crossed I can lose that 1lb by Thurs.
What's your next goal?

Just finished day 9 and feeling great. Been cooking dinners for himself all week too. Think its easier the second time doing it. First weigh in yesterday morning and am down 9lbs so I was delighted. Thought I'd only lose about 5ish so it was a nice surprise. Would be great if I lost 5 next week to make up the stone but I'll aim for 2-2.5lbs (fingers crossed)

Hey, I'm about 6st still from my goal but taking each day as it comes, it's getting easier as time goes on and even if I don't get all the way down I'll be far healthier than I used to be :D
I'm also ADDICTED to cooking programs, it's become my TV life now.. I also love the smell of food... even when I'm not eating it! I don't think I stopped to even consider how food smelt before (was too busy eating!) but now I can get a lot of satisfaction from smell. Strange what this diet does to you eh!

Hi everyone I'm completely new to this site,so please be patient. :) I am starting my second day today on lipotrim... I have some cellulite... Has anyone that's done this diet found that it reduces the cellulite when you lose the weight ?

I personally dont know abiut the cellulite. Hopefully I'll lose some myself. Ive my wk 2 weigh in tomorrow and I dont feel any lighter. I'm gonna be disappointed I'd say. Id say if I lose two itd be a bonus
