Depends on the recipe as to whether or not it's free.

The butternut squash is superfree, but the soup overall won't be as it will contain other ingredients, such as stock, which aren't superfree.

Hi thanks for that I used 1 butternut squash, 2 small onions, 2 cloves garlic, 1 potato and two stock cubes.

I am trying to keep a food diary just wondering which section I should put it really :)

    Ah ok.

So the soup is definitely free - you could either put it in the free section as 'butternut squash soup'.

Or you could list the separate ingredients in the relevant sections (I.e. Butternut squash in superfree, stock in free, and so on).

    Hope that's helped x
