Okay...

Brief history for those who don't know me. I'm Lily (actually Sue - but I've been Lily for so long that it'd feel weird if you started to call me that!). I have in the past been enormously successful on Cambridge, losing 5 and a half stone between October 2007 and June 2008. Sadly, it crept back, bit by bit, inch by inch. That said, I am still apparently a successful dieting statistic in that I've never (quite) put it all back on again, though boy, am I perilously close. :eek: I am an expert on just about every diet under the sun, having tried most of them. They all work, to a point. And then they don't. And Cambridge is then the diet I turn to repair some of the damage. This time though, I'm planning to repair *all* of the damage.

I need to find a new Cambridge Consultant as mine has retired (well, that's what happens 8 years after the first time, I s'pose :)). So while I'm researching suitable candidates ;) I've purchased some S&S, Exante and LighterLife Fast products so I can get started (before I talk myself out of it!). I'm planning on starting tomorrow, as I can work from home on Monday and by Tuesday ketosis should hopefully have kicked in.

Aw, thanks both of you xx I wasn't expecting any replies - it's so quiet here at the moment!

It's Friday, and I'm on a train to Birmingham to give a presentation. It's been a long time since I've been to Brum (well, months, anyway - I used to go there much more often). Don't like these new London Mdland trains - there's no flip down tables and it's that weird set up where there are two seats one side and three the other (with not enough room for 3 normal sized people to sit there, let alone if one of the three is me!).


Both my LL and Exante orders are due to arrive this morning. It would've been nice to have had a shake to start today off right before I left home but I'll see what I can find in Boots/Superdrug when I get in. I've packed an S&S Milk Chocolate praline bar for lunch. I'll be a bit limited on bars as since doing this last time I've discovered I'm wheat intolerant (and don't do well with oats either) - only took me a few years to figure out. :rolleyes: I've turned into an obsessive label reader! But it's that, or spend hours with tummy cramps. :sigh:

I was 16st 11lbs this morning, which was unexpected - I reckoned I'd be 17st something - I'll take it! :) So, in a moment I'll update my stats - and really get this journey (ah, the X Factor stylie "journey" ;) started. ;)

Good luck:) will enjoy reading your progress. Yes very quiet these days. Good to see a few people still hanging around. I'm on a refresh day 4. Kept messing about and not sticking to it. So far 100%. Weigh day Tuesday. I'm actually excited.

Scrub that - not just the three seat side. I've got one bum cheek on the two seat now a chap's sat down next to me. Ah, bliss - someone's just got off so I've swapped seats. No wonder I get backache all the time with some of the positions I end up sitting in! Makes for a very long journey!

*Must* lose weight!!!

Yay, well done! :clap: It can be hard but sometimes very easy too! I always quite enjoy the fact that I don't have to think about what to eat!

I found the Superdrug ready made shakes (Lighterlife fast) - hurrah! Nothing to shout about, but passable - it did the job. :) So, 2 packs down into my first day, one litre of water down the hatch, and all is well... :)

So. Day 2 - and I am feeling (surprisingly) fine! I now have two weeks worth of products, so no rush to find me a new Cambridge consultant. I guess there's a chance I might be able to go it alone but I'm not going to make that decision yet.

Hey Lily!!!! Good gracious me. There is such a plethora of meal replacement products on the open market. The only real benefit of cwp was having a supportive stockist who could keep you motivated when the going got tough.

It's been a while since I had one of those so I'm using the aformentioned other variety of S&S which had lush pre made shakes, perfect for us ladies on the go.

Today is my day of reckoning. It's no work so I can't make excuses. It will give me a few days to get into ketosis.

Hope your day goes well. Drink that water!!!

Agreed - I was googling them all last night. Looks like the KeeDiet does a ready made too, but I think it's not quite a meal replacement, so I'll stick to what I have for now.

LOL, no pressure. :D Well, that's that then, I've got to get it right this time! :)

Thanks mixedchick. Weekends can be the worst time, so I tend to go into diary writing overdrive. My OH just said, "Whaddya doing?" And then seconds later, "Oh, of course - you're on Minimins again..." When I'm in the zone, I s'pose I do post a lot! Mostly drivel though. :D

I love reading all the posts but sadly not many posting lately.
It's been quiet here for more than a year - it used to be way busier. I don't know whether all forums are less busy these days - I guess so. The ones I've visited lately all seem to be quiet.

I haz survived day 2 - but am now in bed (tragically, given it's Saturday night). I'm knackered from lack of calories!

You know what Lily. I was thinking the exact same thing and was wondering if it's because Facebook groups have been so popular? Personally only use it on the odd occasion. So I won't be straying any time soon.

How did today go???
