Can I bake my own wholemeal loaves and rolls if I make them the correct weight?

I'm a keen baker and homemade is sooo much nicer!

I'm sure that whole meal flour (a measured amount) is definitely classed as a hexb.

I think that would mean baking individual loaves and not just 60g off a standard whole meal loaf - but I may be totally wrong!

Is there no mention in the books or in the healthy extra list online? If not, I'd ring the syns hotline just to be completely sure xx

I bake my own bread all the time. I never buy shop bought stuff. I bake 100% wholemeal, it's a 750g loaf and a 1cm slice works out around 60g. I count it as a B choice.

The SW book says "60g of any wholemeal bread" - that's good enough for me!

This. Unless your bread recipe diverges drastically from normal bread, then I'd assume it qualifies as any 60g of wholemeal bread.
