I hae used both blenders and smoothie makers to mix my shakes and both work really well :).

    Lovely and frothy (sp?).

A word of warning though - try to wash them up straight after - I left mine to stand overnight when I was in a rush and it was 10 times harder to wash up

yeah the shakes and soups are both fine to put in a smoothie maker. I use the kenwood smoothie maker for all my cold shakes. Get a pint glass with about 6-7 ice cubes then fill it with cold water, stick it in the smoothie maker with your pack and blend away for a perfect shake.
