Can Philly be frozen?

Like the title says, can philly be frozen if kept in its tub?

I do, but I live overseas, and am unwilling to pay over a fiver for a pack! So I bring from UK and freeze.

It doesn't affect the flavour, but does affect the texture - but I'd say its not too bad - like buying the cheap supermarket version rather than the proper stuff - its definitely fine for cooking with.

Thats what i want it for is cooking, Tesco's have the 300g tubs 2 for £3 so was going to buy one and put one in the freezer
