Cottage cheese? I bought 3 pots when they were reduced but havent used them yet. It doesnt say on the packeging?

I'm not sure that you should but I know I do and I never have any problems when they're defrosted

I have 2 different pots in my fridge and both say not suitable for home freezing.

I freeze everything! Yogurts, left over baked beans etc. All been fine.

I'm not so sure I'd want to eat frozen cottage cheese, but you're right the worse that can happen is you'll be poorly sick
