Hi, I've just started on WW PP today & as Im quite heavy Im on quite alot of points(40) I just wondered if anyone else finds that 40 a day is more than enough & if I don't use the 49 weekly PP will this effect my long term weight lose? I mean if Im not hungry just now as I have 40 what wld happen when my daily points dropped & I started using my 49 weekly?

you should try to eat all your dp at least, when you loose weight your pp you go down so if your not eating the majority of your dailly pp there will be nothing to cut down on & you weight loss may plateau, dont be scared of having chocolate/cake/wine ect with your pp, this is long term & needs to be acheivable:)

If you're not hungry then you shouldn't eating just for the sake of it. However, I would recommend you to use maybe the full fat versions of things, like full fat milk, yoghurt and cheese when you cook, and use extra virgin olive oil to savour your dishes. Each tbs of olive oil is 3pp and it contains essential fats that your body needs in order to release its own fat. If you do this, I'm sure that 40pp won't be too difficult to get to! I can hardly stay within my 29 and I have all skinny equivalents of milk, yoghurt and cheese...

You can even try to snack on nuts and dry fruit. Nuts especially contain essential fats, like the oil, which are very important to your body. I have noticed that from the moment I started eating more fats in my diet my body is happier to get rid of my body fat LOL I'm seeing the difference clearly.

The thing is if you don't eat all of your points now, then there won't be anything to drop when you'll lose weight and in the end you might hit a plateau.

    Good luck! xx

Wld I b better to try & use all my weeklies?unless I go for choc etc I really don't think I'll need any of them! Only because Im already on 40 daily. I rmbr from SW days u were better to try & have ur syns so that if the time came ur weight lose slowed down then u had something to cut back on. Perhaps tho as I lose then my daily pp will reduce?! Thanks for any help

You should try not to get yourself in a position when you NEVER EVER use your weeklies unless you have to. Your metabolism will settle into a routine of having dailies and not weeklies, so if you add them in one week after a long time of not eating them, there's very little chance of you losing that week. The metabolism is very clever and will adapt to what you give it long term, thats why you see a lot of long term members hitting plateaus.

Try to treat yourself to something naughty once a week, chocolate, wine whatever. Enjoy this because its a diet for life, not just 'til you lose that weight x

I've been on this since start of the new year and still feel happy realising this is long term change taking place and not a diet- thank you xx
