It's very low in calories and carbs to make much of a difference, but it is a very healthy choice as it relaxes the muscles of the arteries that regulate your blood pressure. It also has loads of vit C and essential minerals like folacin and potassium.
I'm on AAM and just had my cottage cheese meal with a handful of fresh chives snipped over the top - really oomphed up the flavour of the cheese.
I'm also really pleased because I HATE most low-fat/light cottage cheese but found a really great lighter version in Lidl next to the regular cottage cheese- the texture is firmer, less sloppy, less aftertaste, fills me up more and feels more like a real meal! Try it out if you go past a store!
