Cheapest Chicken Breasts???

becoming a happier, healthier me
I was horrified today to see that Tesco have put their 4 pack chicken breasts up to £7!!! Can anyone recommend lower priced packs?

Asda do their Smartprices one for £3.79 and its a 700g pack I think maybe 600g :D Using mine tomorrow to make a curry with half rice half SW chips :D

I find free range chicken thigh fillets are cheaper, tastier and better for the chickens! They are usually skinless and you can trim off excess bits of fat if needed. We always buy thigh fillets as breasts are usually so expensive so it helps keep the cost down.

I know some people won't eat halal meat but it is cheaper and I also think it tastes much nicer. We have a few Asian supermarkets near us and all the meat is cheaper, the lamb is also lovely.

we are going to an Asian supermarket today to buy herbs and spices etc, they are so much cheaper than supermarkets where you mainly pay for the little glass jar they come in x

I went to Morrisons today and chicken fillets were half price, we got a pack of 4 for £3.95

Farmfoods are great for fish too, I love their prawns.
