Recently I've read so many threads concerning cheating, taking breaks after ridiculously short times on LT and other such shenanigans. I'm not gonna beat about the bush...you will lose dramatic amounts of weight if you rigidly stick to the LT regime and that is TOTAL FOOD REPLACEMENT! You cannot cheat, you cannot take short cuts and you cannot take a break every two weeks (even if it is the your birthday, anniversary or your cat has kittens!!!)

If you wanna lose weight using TFR then stick to the regime or otherwise try another diet!!!

So ends the gospel according to the Scazman!

ooh... well, don't we all wish we could be as strong-willed
(haven't cheated, but i'm sticking up for the ones that are blip-prone)
it's worth remembering that sometimes, not everything goes to plan

I Know it is hard, and i have had a blip in my first two weeks. but its not the end of the world! We are only human, I know that we have got the way we are by having low will power, learning to control our desires is part of the diet as well.

Don't be too hard on others please..

Well said that man!
You are 100% right, but I do think we men are far more stronger willed and more determined than the fairer sex. It is very rare you hear a man moan, winge or cry about how "starving" they are.

I think we all know that wehave to stick top it but sometimes as someone else says things don't go to plan! I came on here and asked about my holiday etc and got this response from you which basically made me feel guilty for thinking it! However, I have decided to re feed for my holiday and since taking that decision I have felt like I can cope with LT and can enjoy my holiday now have allowed myself this break, so would rather do my holiday in a controlled manner than completly fail which is what otherwise happen!
As far as cheating, not one solid thing has passed my lips since starting ;O), hopefully todays weigh in will show that!
I do agree however that cheating is utterly pointless, but I think we all know that already we're only cheating ourselves blah blah blah, this is infact the 1st diet I have not cheated on!!)

I put up a thread a few weeks ago basically saying the same thing Mr Scazz, although it turned out to be more of an essay.

Fact is people, you have chosen to do a really hard diet- either do it or don't! Both myself and cuddlyfairy have suffered from low losses of recent and to read posts about people cheating, losing that weight plus extra is completely demoralising when you have stuck to this 100% and you have lost bugger all!

Come on, you must have will power or you wouldn't be here in the first place :D

I just can't even contemplate cheating at the moment..now I know I can't say I won't ever as that can set you up for a fall but the weight losses just focus this clearly in my mind. I think of every event I am going to where they could be possible temptation and visualise how I will avoid it and how good I will feel knowing I have. As for you men being stronger and not whinging am saying nuffing apart from ....would the population still be growing if men had to go through labour??..just askin lol :D

I have no intentions of cheating and agree that if you commit to this diet you have to do it 100%. You have to be in the right frame of mind to start it though, its not something to be taken lightly.

Men should be forced to have a period, just once, that would sort you all out!

I do agree totally that LT if TFR or you get nowhere. I have had a crap month, with going away and eating then (don't say a word scazzy - u did! lol) and then i was ill with antibiotics. But thankfully I am back on track now and i'm 2lb off being the lightest i have ever been as an adult. I know that has nothing to do with anything, but had to share! LOLOL
