Chicken in skin...

Hi I am cooking a sort of casserole today with chicken thighs and drumsticks and veg stock etc...
Just realised that I have left the skin on the chicken... Does this mean that the meal isn't free even if I take the skin off when eating??

I've alwaes been told that it's okay to cook with the skin/fat on, so long as it's removed before eating. Anyone wanna back me up on that?

Yep Claire you are right.

I always cook a whole chicken with the skin on, and remove it after cooking.

Phew! Thanks Jaylou! I alwaes worry that I've said something wrong! I do that too, or rather hubby does, cos I end up with some accidently ending up on my plate!!
