Chicken's off... what can I have for dinner?

    Damn chicken's off... what can I have for a dinner on a red day.. OH is on his way to Lidl.. what can I have that is relatively inexpensive and quick?

    HELP!!!!!!

    Lean Beef Mince - finely chopped onion/pepper - egg to bind. Make into burger shapes and fry in frylight.
    Easy Cheap Delicious!

    I forgot I always add a large spoonful of Bovril to my mix too. It really adds something...

    mince, passata and cheese is always a quick fav of mine. I do a similar thing with the mince to make the burgers x

    Sounds like a good standby.. will have a go at that tomorrow. OH couldn't get any lean mince so gammon it is! :rolleyes:

    I love gammon - yummy, its alwas a good one for a pub meal out SW style xxx.

    Out of interest what were you going to have with your chicken? chickens my fav meat of all time! x

    well I was going to marinade it in soy sauce and chilli, griddle it and have it with stir fry veg... sigh ! :rolleyes:

    yumy might try that. Soy sauce is my savior! when I said I do my burgers similar to the ones mentioned, the differnce is I add soy sauce to mine! I love soy sauce in scrambled egg too! xxx
