Hi. i'm restarting today for the zillionth time but determined and feeling positive. Been off work for a while so cant really afford to go to group but got plenty of books and info so should be fine. I need to lose about 4 stone but am going to break it down into smaller goals so i doesn't seem so daunting. My first goal is to be 100% for a week and my second is to lose a stone by Christmas. I dont want to spend the day wishing everyone would go home so i could put my jamas on which i'm ashamed to say i did last year. I know i wont be slim by christmas but i'm sure even losing that horrid bloated feeling will help.
I'll try and update my diary every day so it gives me something to look back on and also if you could give me any advice or support i really would be grateful and if i can do the same for anyone i will. Fed up of being a podgy Mother Christmas. First goal here i come x

Had porridge with lots of superspeed berries for breekkie. Getting wrapped up warm and off to the beach to see all the seals and their pups. Go every year and still amazes me. Made some soup so we got something warm and quick to come home to

Yay, 100% for 2 whole days!! Yes i know that sounds ridiculous but if you knew just how bad i've been lately you'd understand.
Got a new phone today and it's got me completely baffled. Not sure i'm going to like it but trying to work it out has kept my mind off food all afternoon.
Feeling positive and ready for day three. Bring it on!!! x

Hi Chelle, how did it go tonight?

I just got a couple of the big mushrooms(sorry cant remember the name)and put in some chopped bacon and spring onions and spread some extra light phili on and baked them in the oven. They were really simple and surprisingly tasty. Definitely have them again as a starter or quick snack x

Hi - just popped by to say well done on first couple of days - You sound really motivated. I'm trying to get my first stone by xmas too, am half way there, am taking the scenic route lol!!

Your mushroom recipe sounds yummy - how long do you bake them for??

Thanks Val, think they took about 25 mins. Sorry not very Jamie Oliver am i? Just bunged em in til they looked done.
Well done on your 1st half stone and good luck for the next. Scenic routes good. Think i'll be taking that too as i've got my hubby as a passenger and he's really not helping. He wants to do it but tells me its harder for him as he's a food addict. Need to check out some pudding recipes cos that's his downfall at the minute. Came in with an apple pie last night but was convinced it was ok cos he got a tin of low fat custard. See what i'm up against!!

Bit of a family crisis yesterday. Kids!!! Still worry you death even when they're grown up. Didn't really stick to the plan but didn't do too much damage so onwards and upwards.
Good thing was i had a really good talk with hubby about how i feel being overweight is controlling life. Dont want to go out or socialise. Just lost all confidence but also think i use it as an excuse to hide behind now.I know being slim isn't the answer to everything but i'm sure feeling better about myself will help me enjoy life more. Find out tomorrow if i need another operation too. Just need answers right now. Time for some positive thinking!!
