Clean and green?

What's the "clean" bit of "clean and green"? Is it no processed food whatsoever, no sweeteners, no caffeine, no alcohol?

Reading various posts on here I can see it's the way to go when you've had trouble getting in to ketosis, but I'm not completely sure what it means... Is it a term used in the book?

I don't think it is used in the book - I think it is one of Jims sayings. I take it to mean as you said above just natural, none processed foods. Meat, Fish, Greens, Eggs, Cream etc .. sticking to the allowed foods in the 72 version. (Stop me if im wrong people!)

Me too!!

Yep me too, I think it's also a good way of identifying things that stall you and things that don't by elimination

If you're interested in this way of eating, Mark's Daily Apple is a great blog to follow. There are a number of overlaps between Atkins/low carb and Paleo/Primal eating. Check out the Whole9 30 day Paleo challenge- it's clean and green extreme! :)
