Ok so I have like 8-10 (yes i know it's a ridiculous amount :p) coffee's a day with 1-2 sweeteners each depending on the size of the mug. My question is will this affect the weight loss given all the stuff about how artificial sweeteners cause weight gain??

I have 3 large mugs of coffee and day with 4-5 sweeteners in each cup!!!!!!!
I haven't read anything about sweeteners hindering weightloss.
My llc says there ok to use and you can have as many as you wish.
    Can't really help Emma sorry!

The main thing you need to be concerned about with coffee on this diet, is that you get alllll your water too - as coffee is a diuretic, it will draw out what little moisture there is in the body - if that is not replaced generously with water - nasty cpnstipation can be the result.

Swap over slowly I gave up coffee completly before starting CD as I couldnt drink it without sugar so I suffered badly from withdrawl .After CD I couldnt drink it with sugar lol swapped over to decaf over 3 weeks couldnt go through it again on the plus side the groggy ness most peeps get when they start vlcd went unnoticed due to already feeling cac from caffine

Me too!! When I was eating - but in abstainance, towards the end I really increased my coffee - not only as coffee, but also used coffee to mix my shakes.....so i was double dosing!! (Caffein hound, me!) :D

I did start to have trouble, so cut it back a bit.

But before LL - a coffee and a fag were as good as any laxative on the market!!! :giggle:
