colds & sore throats

Hello everyone.

Anyone got any tips for sore throats/colds? Feeling pretty terrible, and reluctant to take anything like strepsils as I think they're probably loaded with sugar.

Have taken some paracetamol, and will soon have to venture to the shops to find some tissues. Just wondered if there was anything else I could take?

Dreaming of honey & lemon, but not of food. How strange?

Why does this always happen when I have a nice long weekend booked off from work?

Aww bless you! Hope you are feeling better soon. I had a sore throat a couple of weeks ago and had lots of hot sunshine orange - it tastes just like lemsip! Also sudafed didn't take me out of ketosis. Wrap up warm hon!

Sorry you are poorly, it really is rotten. When I recently had a cough and a cold I took cough medicine suitable for diabetics - Robitussin, vicks vapour rup, gargled with paracetomol and sudafed for my blocked nose - didn't have any affect lost -6lbs that week.

Wrap up warm and take it easy.
