Comfort eater

Hi I'm a comfort eater am startin sw again but cud really do with some tips on what to do when I'm tempted to eat!! I have extreme anxiety and back problems do the two together tend to make me reach for bad food rather than good!!!

I would definately agree with stocking up on low syn and free foods. Make a list of all the free and syn free/low syn foods you like and keep a "picking box" in the fridge. Hope this helps :)
 
Yeah I'll make a list n stock up hopefully that will help! I'm a binge eater too so it's not a good combo! X

what about doing a weekly syn box. I know a few women who fill a box with low syn treats up to the 70 syn value ( 10 syns a day) Most of the time they don't miss those syns but when the comfort eating hits they grab the box instead of hitting the cupboard and that way they stay in control
 
I usually have a few grapes, a carrot stick or apple when a feel that I want to "pig out" on unsuitable food.
