Can anyone help me? I have an Australian laptop and it has no pound sign. I'm sure there must be a way to add a pound sign i'm just not sure how to do it when I need to add one to meesage boards.

Try pressing the alt key at the same time as typing in 0163 xxx

alternatively go to insert symbol and look for £ sign or copy and paste it from another post, you can also create a shortcut key x

wow! I could not get it to work like that but after playing around if I press shift and 3 it comes up £££££££££ lol

Shift and 3 is the same on a british keyboard for a pound sign. How odd!! What does it say on your number 3?

Its a hash sign
