Hello everyone..

I was wondering if someone could help me! I wont go into the tooo much detail but its related to the whole number 2 topic..

I havent been for a week! Im really concerned! I have senokot tablets at home! im not sure if I should take them because Im not sure if you can..or r u suposed to take liquid formed?..Im nearly on week 7 & wondering about the whole ketosis issue aswell as I dont really want to come out of it..if thats the case.

I take FibreClear with each shake.. also psyllium husk (all the health shops charge a lot for it) if you visit an indian shop and ask for 'isbaghol ka chilka' (i recommend you write it and take it to the shop keeper) it comes in two packets.. one is green and white box.. and another is red and white.. have two tablespoons of that with water and drink it REALLY QUICKLY.. it tastes weird but it helps and it wont kick you out of keytosis..

you can take sena tablets also.. those are fine.. take those at night.. others recommend dulcolax also..

this is a common side effect.. also look at your water intake.. try drinking throughout the day as opposed to drinking alot in a short period of time.

Hey!

I will be buying fibre clear tomorrow. I just took 2 sena tablets..Im hoping for a micracle because it is frustrating..if that does not work within 3 days I will try the other resources you have sugested and if worse comes to worse if nothing works It will be time to pay my GP a visit.

Sorry for sharing this on here..but i had to post my happiness! I finally went for a number 2 today after a week of constipation! The senna tabs does play wonders lol..:)

Hey!
I struggle with this when I'm on LT and have found now that I'm having to take tabs everytime I want to go. I'm taking 2 twice a week. I'm pretty sure this isnt healthy but I really dont want to give up on LT due to the fantastic results!.. I've found Boots cheaper version of Senekot works wonders!!!! :0)

I know how u feel..its horrible I seriously thought I had a blockage & got worried as I know a friend who ended up in hospital due to this!

Thats great if the boots version works for..so far Iv been ok..

But VERY UPSET today as my weight lose this week was 0 YES 0 I didnt beleive it at 1st soo made sure there was a 2nd reading & it remained the same to my horror

I rang the lipotrim adviser for answers as the lady at the chemist really couldnt answer my question. .

So, the LT advicer stated because I had been constipated for 1 week 2 days my lose could have would have btween -3 - 0. Im feeling very disheartened SAD as I could have possibly acheived my goal by now! but it wasnt possible.

Im hoping in my last week weigh I could loose -6 but it going to be difficult as next week its TOTM. GRRRR

I cannot do a extra week due to medical conditions.
Feeling gutted due to all this because I exercise 4 times a week,I have kept on this diet 100% throughout & have NEVER cheated or slacked on water..& feel I have wasted a whole week on LT with no result when Im paying for these shakes which are expensive.

I bascially dont feel like taking my shakes as I feel like CRAP but having to push myself as it my last week:cry:

that is so strange that you didnt lose... had you drunk lots of water before weigh in? you had poo'd before the weigh in though hadnt you? so that should have shown in your weight. Do you drink lots of soda water? High sodium can make you retain water but also, my periods are all over the place so maybe this is premenstrual water retention too? x
Hey Tori 2011.
I always go for WI on a empty tummy make sure my bowels are opened.
(I opened my bowels on monday)

After WI i start on shakes & water starting 9am. I do not drink soda water i just drink 4 1/2 pints of mineral water with the odd cups of tea. Maybe it is retention but is definetly due to the week of constipation. Seriously GUTTED:confused:

I dont go all week either but take my laxative 2 nights before so opened the day befpre, just to make sure.... Hope u lose big next week - let us all know! xx
Hmmm..might give the whole taking my sena a few days before my FINAL weigh in of this diet. I also hope I loose more on my last week as it is v.well deserved. Will definetly keep u updated. Will repost for the final verdict next week weds :) x

Hey JazzyJay I took 2 senna tabs last week sunday. If you buy them from the chemist it will give u instructions & guideness. It takes from 8 - 12 hours for the tablets to kick in. With me it took 15 hours for bowel movement bearing in mind I was constipated for a week & 2 days. It differs from person - person.
Im not sure how many you can take a week but I definetaly no you CANNOT take more than 2 within 24hrs.

RE: Bloating - How long have you been constipated? have you had any bowel movement?
Try drinking black coffee that helped me, also try increasing your water intake a little. It will help the bowel movement not to go into lazy mode.

Hey Guys!

After a very distressing week last week with no change weight lose due to being CONSTIPATED for a week. I decided to go for a 1 day earlier WI today as it is my final day of LT.
I was dreading it because firstly I was so disheartened by last week & secondly it TOTM for me so I just thought I go with the flow.

To my shock I lost -7lbs TODAY. Meaning a total loss of 15 pounds for month 2
Im over the moon & have actually now acheived my goal.:D

Im refeeding today and am looking forward to eating :) x

That's such a top tip. I presume it's a lot cheaper in an Asian supermarket?
