Ok don't ask me to explain why because I have no reason that I can give but today I have had 4 biscuits and two cups of home made parsnip soup. I started out with all good intentions this morning, having my shake but as the day has gone on i have just fallen BIG STYLE!!!!

Should I have the rest of my shakes today?
Why is this becoming harder and harder to do?:break_diet:

have your shakes babes and continue as if it didn't happen. these little slips aren't what make us stop losing weight on cd. it's the fact that we don't continue as if they didn't happen.

you'll be back in ketosis in a day or two if you get straight back on it.

go for it :D

Today has been harder for me today too. I had the house to myself for a while and knew that if I was to pick at something nobody else had to know. The thing that stopped me was that although nobody else would know-I would. I couldn't bear to 'fall off the wagon' after getting this far. Some days are harder than others-there are days when I don't know where my determination is coming from. As Abz says, just pick yourself up and carry on as if it didn't happen. It's only when you allow yourself to carry on eating and give up that you've failed.

The worst thing to do is go backwards. Just pick yourself up and keep moving forward. Its ok, it happens to many many people. But dont let it go into a downward spiral. tomorrow is another day. You can do it. It will get better!!!!

Like the others have said put it behind you, have the rest of your shakes and carry on from there. You can't undo it but you can decide you're going to be 100% from here on. I don't feel tempted much these days but if I do feel like having something I think about the money i'd be wasting if I ate, i'm spending a lot on this diet and that in itself helps to keep me motivated!

Just be honest with your CDC, you might not have done too much damage. If you've not lost as much use that as an incentive not to cheat again but if you've still lost a good amount don't think it's ok to cheat now and again if I still lose because small things are very likely to lead to eating more! Let us know how you get on at WI.

Just forget about it, have all your meals and drink lots of water, this will help your system flush it through. Wont take long to get back in ketosis, dont be worried by a bit of gain tomorow, it'll only be water retention and will be gone in a few days. :)

You must have all your CD meals to ensure that you get all the vitamins and minerals that they contain. But don't worry - the soup sounds lovely and it must have been hard to resist! :eat: You never know, you might not even be out of ketosis (I never have been yet). And if you are, then you'll get back to it soon. Your weight loss might be a tad less than usual, but hey - it'll still be a loss. (And as anyone here will tell you, a loss is a loss is a loss!!)

We've all done this, but we're all still here and still losing - that's the main thing. The person you were when you cheated no longer exists - it's today's person that counts. Don't worry! :D

Have been in touch with my CDC and told her what I've done, she gave me the same advice as you guys so now just fingers crossed for tomorrow, thanks for all your support xx

At least you have spoken to your CDC... so your not worrying about tomorrow. even though its up to you, I know I would personally be scared when I went, if I hadnt prewarned..
As everyone else has said just carry on !!! Its know point beating yourself up about it!!!

Ok results of WI today are I stayed the same............phew. I have promised my CDC that this coming week is gonna be a good loss so now I simply can't deviate cos I hate letting people down. xx
