please convert 15ft x 12ft into square metres.

Also can you recommend the best carpet to have with 2 cats & 2 small children. We've got a wooden floor & the neighbours are complaining about hearing us walking on the floor,

We had a carpet b4 but it collected lots of cat hair etc

    15ft x 12ft = 5m x 4m = 20 square meters

Don't know about carpet though. I have cats and kids too so would hate carpet.

What about rugs and runners so that you can enjoy your wooden floors again when the kids are older and don't run around as much?

Im pestering OH for a chocolate colour carpet. I detest this laminate flooring although the cats are amusing to watch when running! Its awful when we polish because the floor becomes an ice rink! ill be glad when i eventually get my way :giggle:
