Hi peeps

Just a quickie. Are rotisserie chicken allowed on Attack? I am talking just the meat and not the skin of course.

Thanks!:)

I don't see why not - you might want to check with the counter-staff to see if anything has been added before they were cooked though!

ive asked before and nothing added. dont eat the wings though and yes make sure al the skin off :)

Yeah but they keep SPOONING all the FAT over them... so even without the skin! That's how come they taste so fabulous compared to mine!!

I have bought and eaten and LOVED... but best not too regularly unless they promise not to baste non stop!!

lol even on the spit roast do they baste??? god job i dont have them too often then!

I've seen them doing it here at least... all the fat underneath the spit (oooh that sounds appealing!) gets spooned back over regularly!!

mmmmmmmmmmm no wonder they are lush. AND morrisons here do big bits of pork crackling. now why didnt i notice that when i was on Atkins??

I would KILL for some pork crackling... (one thing I do recall from my day in York was a fabulous sandwich bought in the centre at a place filling them with pork and pork crackling)

mmmmmmmm that sounds lovely. Hot pork bun yummy.
Im missing cheese :( blue cheese mostly.

Doesn't it just... hmm...

I don't like cheese, funnily enough, so definitely not something I miss. For me it would be fruit that I miss the most... (not that it's something I'd OD on if given the chance to eat whatever I like without gaining weight!!). Saw some cherries on a desk this morning... looked away quickly.

oh and also we brought some new potatoes back to the city from the country for friends... so I've been hearing from people how lovely they were with mint and butter etc etc... yet I've not tasted them!

ah potatoes i dont miss that much - unless its chips :D

even new ones...? no skin? Mint in the pan? reminds me of my Mum's Sunday lunches!

oh ok. jerseys are my favourite. taste very earthy :D

oh and mash....lol yes i think i love potatoes :D

mmm creamed potatoes... with butter... (or BUTTER with some potatoes is more like it!!)

Cooked chicken from the supermarket? how did we end up on SALTY butter!

FOOD PORNOGRAPHY

Morrisons don't re-spoon the fat over their chickens, it drips into a massive bucket then gets thrown away.. I know that much!

oh gem bobs thanks!!!!!! you have made me day!

I don't know what they do to them before that stage, I only know about the actual cooking process. If by any chance you're watching your salt intake, don't go for the "Extra Tasty" chickens. ;)
