Just in case anyone else is in this boat, I asked the pharmacist if he had a sugar free medicine, and I got one called Robitussins which is for diabetics. I'm not allowed it officially but I can't be off work just because I'm on a diet and won't take any medicine to help myself. It doesn't seem to have done any harm anyway! ?
