Cream of Tartar

Was thinking of making some meringues with sweetener instead of sugar so they are syn free, but a recipe I've found calls for cream of tartar. Is this syn free or do you have to syn it as you do with baking powder? Only need a quarter of a teaspoon so can't imagine it would be much?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi - a level teaspoon is 1/2 syn on all plans so fill your boots & do tell how they turn out. Enjoy.
 
Just found that you can use lemon juice or vinegar instead of the cream of tartar so it would be completely syn free! Pavlova here I come!!! :)
