Currently cc but 3 weeks till holiday. Should I try sw?

Hey I'm currently on calorie counting. 1300 calories per day.
I have 3 weeks till holiday and would like to lose 5 lb.
Would changing to sw for the next 3 weeks give my body a push in the right direction? Any advice appreciated.
 
You could certainly lose that amount in 3 weeks so would be worth a try, although not everyone loses that much. I suppose it depends on your body. I've only ever lost 0.5 lb - lb a week but others have lost 5lb in their first week.

Yes sure give it a go... i realized the bigger you are the more you lose your first week...i lost 8.5lb which i was very large...

id really give it a go :)
 
Its difficult to say how much you might lose, particularly if you are moving from healthy eating to SW. You tend to see big losses in the first week where people are retaining a lot of fluid or because they are making major changes to their diet. How did you settle on 1300 calories a day out of interest, it seems pretty low tbh and you may find you are eating more calories than that on SW.
