Cuts of Meat

Hello everyone,

Im making a Caribbean lamb stew tomorrow and in the past i have always used lamb leg steaks and cut them up.

This is not practical as its A - Too expensive and B - a waste of tender meat that should be eaten whole.

Can anyone recommend a cut for a stew so i can buy some in the butchers tomorrow? I was thinking neck but ive never used this before.

neck of lamb is the best for slow cooked stews (and the cheapest lol) PS can you post me some when it is cooked yum yum x

I agree, neck has always been my choice for stews, shoulder is very sweet too.
