Hi everyone. I have been yo-yo-ing with my weight lately, so I really need to stick to it this time, so hopefully keeping a diary on here will help! I have stuck to doing 'Discover' before, so am now going to try ProPoints for the first time in the hope that it will make me focus more and weigh things out properly instead of just thinking I know the points in things! My nephew is being christened in July so would love to lose at least 10lbs by then (preferably a stone). If anyone sees anything wrong, or has any comments or suggestions then please feel free to say something :)

First 'WI' but have only been on diet properly for 3 days but I like to WI before the weekend then if I'm a bit naughty it gives me the week to be extra good :eek: not the best way of thinking I know lol! Anyway so I've lost a lb although it hasn't been a full week, but it's a start. OK here goes my first full week! Weekends are always difficult but am gonna count everything and use my weeklies which are reset today :) Wish me luck!

Snacks - my downfall when alone on a Friday night due to boredom! Lol I need to get a life!! :eek: - ?PP
Whatever I have will be the start of using my Weekly points so don't wanna go overboard. Have got Curly Wurly, Mikado's, French Fries in so all fairly low pointed snacks. Need to find a distraction really so I don't keep turning to food when I'm bored! Really fancy trying the local Zumba class, but am too shy to go on my own lol. Or a walk round the village but feel a bit sad on my own! Anyway I will report back tomorrow how I get on.
UPDATE: OK I let myself down and snacked coz of boredom again! Really need to address this issue I have!

Hmm disappointed in myself for the naughty weekend! Have stuck within my weeklies, just lol, but have got to be REALLY good for the next 4 days which is gonna be a struggle this week coz it's totm booooooo!! Will have to try and use my points wisely and try to leave a few for a small choccy treat at night so I (hopefully) don't go off track.

Hmm choc craving hit me today! Still JUST within my weeklies but still got 2 days to go, hoping the choc craving is out of my system now but who knows at totm!!! Am a bit worried that I've almost used all my weeklies, was planning on only using about half but then had a naughty weekend! Suppose the good thing is I have kept counting whereas in the past I would have stopped counting at the weekend and started again Monday! Will see how I get on eating them all in terms of weight loss. Don't feel like I have lost anything yet tho.

Hmm well gave in to the choc craving last night, stayed within my weeklies tho, just! Got to try and be really really good today and tomorrow and try to stick to my daily points only. Wish me luck!! :D On the plus side, Take That release their new single today, downloaded it and I love it! Maybe I'll have to listen to that everytime I need chocolate lol. Only 4 weeks til I go see them now, soooooo excited!

Yeah course you can join in - you might want to start your own diary thread though rather than posting in mine? ah! im liking your food diary !! just think positive, even if you feel like you havent lost anything it doesnt mean that you haven't !!
i mean you havent gone over your total allowance of points, so its not like you've binged yourself silly and going to put on a few pounds.. you've just done what every other person does and use their points allowance, its what they are there for !! and be lets be honest .. totm isnt exactly the greatest time to lose weight, but hey.. you still stuck to it, good on you ! :)

Thanks for reading Lauren! I did go over my weeklies last night - I had 2 choccy biccies extra :eek: so still not too bad I guess! Anyway you were right, I've lost a lb so I'm quite happy with that really coz it's been a tough week haven't felt great. Hoping next week will be a bit easier :). Also hoping to get some exercise gone, was gonna start this week but just haven't had the 'get up and go' to do it. Thanks again!

Well I've lost another lb which was a nice surprise this morning coz I don't feel like I've lost anything, it's only a lb but they all add up don't they?! :D Going to try and have a better weekend this weekend and not use so many weeklies if I can help it! Girls night out tonight, not sure what to drink really - I'm not a big drinker anyway will prob only have 2 or 3 lol. Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend!
