Hi all my names sarah,im 37, married with 2 children...and do not want to be fat and forty lol... its 05:42 tuesday morning and this is my 1st day of lipotrim...i work nightshifts by the way hence up so early.
Got weighed yesterday 16.8lb, my ideal goal would be 11.7lb, but going to take it one day at a time.
I lost 5 stone on lighter life 5 years ago, but i didnt do the maintenance programme so hence it went pear shaped.
If im honest im not convinced that i can do this again, but if i can get through the first 4 days or so then i should be fine...so need your help guys an gals!
Not looking forward to the major
headache and cravings...but trying to block that out of my thoughts and convince myself that it wont happen.
Will be going to bed at around 08.30am till 1pm then must keep busy....good luck to any other new lipotrim dieters.:p

Just think positive! You're being too hard on yourself by saying your not convinced you can do it.
Think that this is the last time you will be doing this cos it's too hard to go through again!!

Well done on starting it, it's not for the faint hearted!! I started Ll nearly a week ago and it's tough but defo worth it.

Good luck on your weight loss journey xxx

    Hi Sarah

You've taken the first step and thats going to the chemist for the program!!

you did amazing on lighter life!! wow!!! So you know you have the will power to get you through it as you've had it before!!

I'm the same - do not want to hit 40 fat!!! so lets do a pre-40 diet and get skinny minnies for our 40th celebrations!! I'm a tad older than you!! I'm 40 next year!!!! eek

Think thin - you can do it

    Hiya Sarah and welcome!
I can understand your self-doubt cos I think everybody starts with a crazy mixture of excitement, hope and fear!
One thing is for sure - you have already shown you can do a TFR so don't worry about that side of things. You can do this.
You say you plan to keep busy in the first week but be gentle with yourself cos you won't have much energy as your body adjusts? Drink loads of water and take painkillers if you need them.
Once you get the first week out of the way, the self-belief and confidence will start to return and they'll be no stopping you! ;)

well my journey started as a trial thing, my freind had 5 days supply, id never heard of lipotrim before, so she gave me them and i just somehow managed the 5 days, and ended up at the chemist on day 5 hoping to get some more. the pharmasist was not happy that id started it without the health check etc, she sold me enough shakes for the weekend and i went back on the monday. so for me it wasnt planned, it just happened, im soooo glad i did it, ive lost 20 lb in 3 weeks, and im not looking back now, i feel great, better than i have done in years, ive been messing about with 5 stone for the past 20 yrs, i love lipotrim xx

You did well before on a TFR diet so there is no reason to not succeed this time.
Write out a list of the five top reasons you want to to this diet and also list the top five consequences of not doing this diet. Each time you feel like giving up, take out that sheet and read it.
Take it a day at a time. Soon the days add up to weeks and you will get such a buzz from seeing the weight drop off.
I started thinking I might stick it out for four weeks just for a kick start but I stuck with it for about 29 weeks. I was so pleased I did.
Get into a positive frame of mind.

It really is a case of taking it day by day. I know I need to do Ll for at least 10 weeks but I'm just not thinking about it. Every day is one step closet to a healthy weight. I've just finished week one of Ll so I know what you're going through.

Well done for getting this far xxx

Wish I'd known about LT when I was approaching 40. I vowed I wasn't going to be fat and 40 but I was. Oddly, I was the same weight at 40 as I am now having lost 2 stone 11.5lbs in the past 81/2 weeks, but at the moment I'm feeling slim and really good. I suppose it's all relative. Then, I was the heaviest I'd ever been. Anyway, I used to hover between 13stone and 13.5lbs and felt I needed to be 10.7lbs but just couldn't stick to SW or WW. Tried Atkins and got down to 11.10lbs at one point but as I recall, there wasn't any education about how to re-introduce carbs and my birthday and Christmas came and because I was feeling so good about myself I went a bit mad and piled on weight, which I now know was probably mostly water weight which would have gone if I'd just got back on track but I just thought I'd blown it and before I knew it I was back up to 13stone. Then I got pregnant at 41 and had my son a month before my 42nd birthday. I'd comfort eaten junk throughout my pregnancy (as well as eating all the right stuff!) as my son's father opted out when I was six weeks pregnant. This whole situation turned my life upside down and I continued to comfort eat after my son was born. Being home alone in the evenings, bored, didn't help and I'd just eat whatever was in the house. Trying to lose weight was a nightmare and always unsuccessful. Then I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid which finally explained why I found it so hard to lose weight but even though I started taking medication for this, it took 12 months to get me up to the correct dose and the weight didn't start falling off. Anyway, to get back to the point of my reply, I am going to be 50 in December and am so pissed off that I've wasted another 10 years feeling unhappy with myself. So, don't be me. Decide to get it off now and be foxy and fab at 40! Good luck.
