Day 4 and struggling!!!

Half way through day 4 and the i'm not hungry at all but the smell of other peoples food is killing me... although i'm determined not to stray...:D I've read so many posts saying it gets better after the first week... flippin heck I hope so!!

Still staying positive (or trying at least) but worrying that i will go for my first weigh and won't have lost any weight.. probably just being silly as stuck to the diet religiously..!!

I promise you it deffo gets better - in fact don't be surprised if you get all giddy (daft I mean, not feeling faint) - it's slightly euphoric ;) Not like MDMA though... no gurning...

you'll be surprised how much you lose in your first week! stay strong hun - the smell of food never gets any easier to deal with, but you can deal with it! And food smells alot better than it tastes!

Hi Beckie, i imanaged all sorts of smell my first week, bacon, pasties, KFC, i could go on but i drooling now. Def better the second week I'm on day 12 good luck you'll be as high as a kite when you get weighed xxx

It does get soooo much easier .. you won't even want food soon enough! Just imagine this as food one%20pound%20of%20fat%21.jpg 1lb of pure fat....And every time you think food smells nice imaaine this sticking to you if you eat it!

Thanks guys for all the advice and support has made a huge difference finding this website.... my hubby is super supportive but my friends (several of who are over weight themselves ) keep telling me i'm fine the way I am but i'm not happy this size so I will stay strong and stick it out... the picture is gross but hey it really worked .. have just made a big meal for my boys and visiting relatives and didn't even flinch.. thanks xx

I get very tempted by cooked cheese - no idea why - the smell is yummy but I just take a deep breath and that's all I need. I'm sure the taste would be disappointing and not worth knocking me out of ketosis!

The first week is definitely the hardest but the first WI makes it soooooooooooo worthwhile. Hang in there and you'll find it much easier next week.

You'll be absolutely fine - lots of water and images of the fab clothes you'll fit in when you get stuck into this diet - be prepared to be amazed by how much you can lose - I'm on day 3 so just one behind you......... not hungry like you but it's the boredom, -what to chew but not more than I want to lose the weight.....

We can do this together............. everyone on this site is rooting for you
