    Introduction:

    Thought I would start a traditional Diary, as throughout the horrid teen years this actually helped in more ways than one, I'm doing alittle introduction as I know people may glance at this once in a while and it wouldn't make much sense otherwise.

    I'm L, I have a daughter K - she means everything to me. I am engaged to a wonderful man who is my rock. I am a stay at home mum but I am taking an English degree with Open University and would like to become an English Teacher.

    That sort of sums me up facts wise, emotionally I am a wreck. I have lost all self confidence and self esteem and I feel I am now at rock bottom. I have piled on weight due to comfort eating and binge eating. Exante is my last chance as my health is now suffering and at 24 my knees are giving up. I disgust myself and others around me. Sorry this is so negative but it helps for me to put it into words.

    So, hopefully as I succeed with Exante my diary will turn alittle more positive. Fingers crossed I can do this x

    You can and will. It is tough the first few days but it does get easier. I'm sorry your so down on yourself L, this diet will make you see that you are worth something. Big hugs. Xx

    I really hope you succeed with this diet, because you sound really down on yourself. It is hard to start with but the weight will really fall off if you stick with it. That is motivation enough to keep going. I've got two little ones and it is hard cooking for them and being around food a lot, but it gets easier with each day x

    8lbs in one week is amazing, im hoping for a similar loss.
    So far today I've had a shake and a bar and will have my last shake at 7.

    Before today I never thought water could actually make you feel full, but I have never drank so much in my life and it really is making a difference.

    I can relate to what you are saying,being overweight affects so many different parts of your life.At least we are doing something about it and next year we could be different women,and ditto with the knees,one of the main reasons I am doing this is the older I get the more it affects my health.

    awww you will be fine im nearly through week 1 and i feel great at the moment... first few days hard but just battle through it you will be fine..... good luck :) xx

    Well I made It :) day one completed.

    The strawberry shakes arn't as "nice" as the Chocolate ones but they are bareable which is good.

    Roll on the rest of day 2, today I had to have my shake at 9am as I was hungry when I woke up, it reminded me of Morning Sickness ... which is NEVER a good thing lol x

    i know exactly what you mean with the morning sickness thing and water just doesnt take the ickyness away! i tend to no have a lil bit of dr pepper zero first thing which takes it away and also try adding a sweetner to your milkshake if you havent already you would be suprised at the difference it makes, i jus put mine in a litle pot thing pour a dribble of boiling kettle water over it let it melt then add to the milkshake a blend some more. once you see those scales on your first weigh day and youve seen how much youve lost that will spur you on for the next week. i couldnt even imagine my goal weight when i started but now i really can Good Luck everyone is here to support you xxx

    Day 3
    Well today has be very easy so far as I have been run off my feet with a teething baby and in the process of moving house, feel really positive today.

    Had a sneak peak at the scales this morning, 3lbs down. A total of 6 (as lost 3lbs before starting) - this might not seen like much but for me its amazing :) i wouldn't even have lost 3lbs on 2 weeks of WW. I am notorious for losing weight really slowly. I think thats the main reason i give up. I done weight watcher last year for 3 months, I was so strict i didnt even have a drink and only lost 15 lb. it gets alittle boring so im hoping to try and double it on this diet. (minimum)

    Was doing fab last yesterday, felt so determined and even managed alittle exercise ... then 7pm came around.
    I had a slice of pizza, then some chocolate, then some more chocolate. I'm so angry with myself ... no change there. I always seem to cheat on Day 3 of any diet. But the real change is I am carrying on, ususally I would give up for a few weeks then start again half a stone heavier! But nope, I just jumped off the wagon for a little while but I am right back on it.

    Jumped on scales to assess damage . 1lb. Its amazing how you work hard for 3 days and lose 3lbs, but it only takes 1 hour of crap eating to gain a pound.

    Day 5
    Last night my DF went to a stag night. They went to a pub, then Casino for a few hours then I dont want to no were they ended up lol. Anyway we had a discussion before hand about how much money DF was to gamble as we don't have much money at the moment. He set aside some money and I gave him 20 pounds from me to put on.

    Well we only went and won just over 4 thousand pounds :-0 :-0 :-D so today has been a celebration kind of day ... day 1 again tomorrow :-s not to sad about it tho lol x

    I just told him I dont want to know lol, otherwise i think id poision his tea :p

    Im certainly paying for my weekend of booze and food :eek: Weight today was 17 stone 6 :cry:.

    Drawing a line - money is not for throwing away now its to pay of credit card :p

    So far had my Banana shake, think im getting a cold eek, typical. Have heating on full pelt as it is freezing here today (Glasgow)

    Glad im back on track as im looking forward to seeing the weight come off. All the diarys on here are so inspirational you all do amazing.
