Hi Rachel, You can start your diary where you like... better to go into the section that is under your specific diet i.e. WW or SW.
You are right about clicking on the "New Thread" and don't forget to put in your title.
How many diaries you set up is entirely up to you but personally I find it much better to use the same one for food, chat and various rants and raves, moans and groans and, of course, all the good news as well.
It's also up to you how often you post in it but keeping it regularly will help you to see how things are progressing day by day.
