Did anyone like the BBC Emma series? What about any Jane Austen scene adaptations?

Just wondering if anyone enjoyed the BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma which finished Sunday before last? Also, are there any Jane Austen fans out there? I really enjoyed the BBC Emma production and thought that Jonny Lee Miller made a terrific Mr Knightley. I watched the Gywneth Paltrow/Jeremy Northam version again (via Youtube) to compare and mainly preferred the BBC one except for the proposal scene which the G/N version builds up the romantic tension better.

What about Pride & Prejudice? I love Colin Firth in the BBC one and think that the Americans went way over the top on the "I love, love, love you" scene in the mist!

Anyway, love to hear anyone's views.

I enjoyed this adaptation of Emma to say I'm not a big fan of the book.

Colin Firth as Darcy will always be my favourite.
