Diet fail...

#1
I accidentally fell into the fish and chip shop at lunch time today...:cry:The damage was small chips, small fishcake and a splash of curry sauce. Boy oh boy I've felt sick as hell ever since - massive heartburn, churning stomach. I never handle fried food well so I should have known better, but the smell was absolutely irresistible.

NEVER.

AGAIN.

:sigh:

It's just one chippy tea, in the grand scheme of all the good meals you've had and will have on your journey it's nothing... put the big stick down and stop beating yourself with it!!! x

Exactly. You've already lost 11lb - 1 day off ain't gonna do too much damage!

I mis-read that as egg and chips... so now what do I want??!! Tomorrow nights tea for sure! Just a healthy take on it!

When ever I fall into a glass of alcohol it lowers my resistance to food....
This is so true. I can have the very best intentions, but I find if I drink too much, it's not just an extra 150 calories for that extra glass of vino, it's the extra 500 of whatever I can get my hands on whilst inebriated to stuff in my gob! Seriously, it's SCARY how much I can eat when a bit drunk. I'm meeting a friend for some drinks and mexican in 10 days and I've decided to get us two pizza express pizzas in for late in the evening - and hopefully eating that (and accounting for it in advance) will ensure I don't then go and eat anything else!!!

I only get booze-fuelled munchies when I drink wine! I can drink vodka, gin, whatever and it doesn't make me eat, but one glass of wine and I'm trying to stick my head in the (small) biscuit jar and going on cheese toastie cookathons!

Back when I was really bad, I couldn't control myself around food when I'd had a tipple. I've never likes takeaways, but when I'm tipsy, I'll eat anything. I ended up not carrying cash with me - only my cards. Most of these takeaway food places don't accept cards, but (thank thank x12391283 goodness) I seemed to of moved the tipsy food monster aside with a firm hand and I can again carry cash!

The thing with booze is, I tend to think 'what the hell' then stuff myself stupid.

My Marissa Peer CDs I ordered from Amazon arrived yesterday & I do feel that they will help she is certainly persuasive.
