Discover plan help please! Newbie alert!

Morning all,im after some help with the discover plan.

Me and my husband are doing the discover plan at home,no meetings ect and are using the old points system-we inherited all of Mother in laws points books as she moved onto pro points.

we followed the discover plan for a short while before xmas,but had a break over the festive period, and as its now JUNE lol and we are both at our heaviest ever,its time to go back on it.

Im after some advice with the points carry over rules-is it allowed,how many per day total can be carried over?? i know they have to be used up in the same week,but just unsure as to how many a day is allowed.

Is there an allowance for "treats" i thought i read somewhere there was,but cannot find it now-if fact am struggling finding much to do with the old points now.

We have a points calculator,the shop book,the green folder with the booklets and food lists in ect,and we have our own "points tracker" on our comps to access and track as we eat,so i think we have everything we need,i also have a pedometer to gain activity points.

Oh and what is the maximum points allowance for a man? it says in the book no higher than 40-but i read 28 last time i did this plan (think i got confused with something else) Other half should be around 32 points a day but we capped him at 28 after i read this-so should he be on 32

40 is the most anyone should be on on discover...you can carry over 4 points per day for use at other times, but after the week is up they are gone forever.....
there is a post in the main discover section on this forum to work out the points you should be having each day. best of luck, I love discover...Im sure you will do great on it :)

thanks for that info! re read all the books in the green folder and seems i got mixed up with the discover plan and the fast start which was where i got confused with the points!

have lost 1kg in the first week,so off to a good start already-whoo!!
