Do the bars / Water flavourings slow down weight loss?

    As the title asks, do they? My loss has slowed considerably since my last WI, i had 2 bars this wk, one on fri and one on sat but was drinking my mam's tap water which had a taste off it so using the water flavouring, would this have caused the slow down?

    Can't say for all but I have one bar a day and a mousse every day (no water flavourings) and I'm happy with my losses - sometimes there are surges of weight loss and then a slowing down before another big loss. As you lost so much in the first week it is unlikely that you would do the same again so soon

    I have to admit that I personally think the bars and mousse slow down my weight loss. However, there are lots of other people on here whose weight is not affected at all by these. Did you realise that the water flavouring was not allowed until week 3?

    I'm experimenting this week, no bars, just shakes and we're going to see if I lose more. I've been getting a bit fed up having been on CD for 20 weeks now so just need a bit of a boost - will let you know on Friday if it made a difference!

    My CDC let me have the bars, water flavourings and mix a mousse on week 2. I think it may depend on your CDC
