Dukan and diabetes(type2) ?

    Hi all,
    I'm considering trying dukan,and have the book ,DH would like to try it too,but has type2 diabetes.He isn't as overweight as I am:mad:,but could do with dropping about 1 stone.As I haven't thoroughly read the book yet,I'm not sure if this diet is suitable or not...anyone know?TIA !:)

    Dukan from July 2011
    My hubbie is type 2 and following it with me, needs to lose about 3 stone.
    He personally hasn't had any problems so far but may be worth seeking docs advice, my hubbie won't but just being very aware of how he feels and monitoring his sugar levels.
    I do think type 1 would be more of an issue but not type 2 .... By no means an expert though x

    I am glucose intolerant and don't find it a problem - in fact I feel healthier because I have got got out the habit of eating/craving unsuitable food.
