A few weeks ago I went to East Z East in Manchester and they offer a healthy options on their main menu. The food was gorgeous and I'd recommend them.

I'm not completely sure what healthy option meant as they weren't specific, but any less fat is good in my book as I love curry.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip. I often go out for dinner in Manchester and have been dreading someone mentioning indian.

The High Tea menu looks great and claims to be fat free which is a bonus.

Cheers :D

Ok not happy !!!!!

As coinsidence has it we went out for dinner last night so I suggested East Z East.

Great restaurant, even has valet parking!

But they no longer do the healthy menu!! And only one set of meals came with salad. I was quite miffed by the whole thing.

Unless you are planning a night off I would give this place a miss.

I decided on the balti as it usually has a good meat to veg ratio but it had no veg in it at all. It all tasted great but has obviously done my diet no good at all

Such a shame as the menu looked really nice.
